Get Lost and Go Local
with Kelley Ferro in Cape Cod
I've been going to the Wequassett Resort every summer for as long as I can remember. And every time we return, the resort just gets better and better. The beautiful, private resort is set on Pleasant Bay, just a ten minute drive from downtown Chatham. The inn has it's own tennis courts, kid center, gorgeous pool and best of all, stretch of private beach. There's also a dock where you can arrange boating excursions.
The rooms are luxury yet they retain the Cape Cod, sea salted, historical feel. The beds were heavenly and the fireplace added a nice charm. I loved the patio and we enjoyed wine out there at sunset.
The dining options at the resort are great as well. You can eat at the casual beachfront restaurant, or the more upscale Twenty Eight Atlantic. I also enjoyed the pub fare are Thoreau's, a charming, dark wood bar area.
If you are going for the superior stay in Chatham, check in to the Wequassett Resort.
